I am looking for a Vari-X III 3.5-10X 40mm Gloss scope and found one for $429.

Is this a good price?  Anyone know of a place that might have it for less?

Check'd 6 places and Bear Basin is the only one who has it for that price, so I'd say that's a good deal......
