Holosight on gooseneck style mount?

Is it possible, or even advisable to mount a holosight on a gooseneck style mount? I have a fixed carry handle, but I really like the holosight.

BC CAM adjustable mount is the best available gooseneck mount on the market for the EOTech.

Thanks SMGLee. I'll definately add that one to my consideration list.

I was doing a web search for others, and found this link: http://www.wholesalehunter.com/product/eotech/eotedes/mounts.htm

I was looking at the one listed there as "MWG-SAM". But I can't find it anywhere else on the web, do you know what it is called, if it has anouther name?

Hello SpyHawk, there are two gooseneck rails marketed by EOTech. The 9-MWG-SAM3AH (which is made by PRI) works best if you have standard HG's. The 9-BC-CAM works best with larger HG's (like double heat shield M4 HG's) because it is adjustable. I sell the 9-MWG-SAM3AH for $100.00 and the 9-BC-CAM for $110.00.

Will the 9-MWG-SAM3AH work with Cavalry Arms non-tapered handguard?

EDIT: Am I correct that the ones from Bruger & Thomas (or however you spell it) and others will mount it too high and block the iron sights?

I don't own a set of the HG's you are talking about so I can't say for certain. If there isn't a double heat shield in them then I would say that the 9-MWG-SAM3AH will work. If you order one from me and it doesn't work I will refund your money or get you the one you need...

I got a bushnell 2 mounted to a arms mount, while it wont co-witness with the iron sights, its a pretty slick setup.
