Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Picatinny Rail Gas Block

I'm still trying to decide what I want to get.

I've seen the gas block with the picatinny rail for a detachable front sights.  I like the idea of having the option of removing the sight.  I haven't bought the upper yet, so I can order it either way.

Those of you with this gas block, how do you like it?  Any drawbacks?  Any problems?

Any comments will be appreciated.

I have an Armalite spr ( 20" flattop , rail
gas block)
One reason I bought it was because with a scope
mounted I am distracted by a fixed front sight.

So I can leave off the front sight , or use a
folding front [:D]
