Like the subject says, what is the Mil-Dot recticle, what does it do & hwy have it?

Just one thing that about everyone gets wrong with mils, is they think they are miliradians.  A mil, is just that a mil.  It was a unit of measurement developed by a Swiss Artillery Capt in the 1800's that is 1/6400 of a circle, it subtends approximately 1 m at 1000 m.
