arms 38- is that ment to go full length?? over charging handle to front sight?

arms 40? is just a back up sight ??


i ask because i want to build a shorty A3 upper with a flip up sight, aimpoint , fixed front sight, and some type of vertical foregrip/ light set up...

The #38 includes the #40 BUIS integrated.  It is an rail arm that covers your flat top upper reciever.  It comes in three lenghts the longest one extends over the delta ring(give or take).  It acts as a spacer to mount sights, etc.  If you get that and get an AIMPOINT use the ARMS#22 M68 2 mount alone and it will set your red dot at the correct height to cowitness your iron sights.

The #40 is the BUIS by itself!

and the delta ring is the thing that holds my FOrearms on correct?
