The scope would have to come off to use the BUIS, but other than that, I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as a flip up rear was used.
Am I missing something here? |

When I had a Leupold Vari-X III on my AR, I couldn't flip up the rear while the scope was mounted. I chose to use ARMS #22 QR rings so I could take the scope on and off while retaining my zero.

No purpose to have the rear flip up while the scope is mounted. The magnification will make the front sight unusable anyway.
