First off, I'm totally pleased with my new TA31. Quite the piece of work. Was holding out for a TA11c (77gr OTM use with 14.5" M4), but the TA31 came in so I snapped it up.

Mine came with a scope coat and lens pen included in the box. I wasn't expecting this. Did my dealer float me a bonus or does Trijicon ship them that way?

I'm using the A.R.M.S. 19s mount. The scope comes with only (1) mounting screw. Is it necessary to run to my local screw supply store and get another or is one screw strong enough to be adequate? If one screw isn't strong enoungh then why the hell wouldn't Trijicon include a second?

My current BUIS is the GGG MAD. I noticed that when mounting the 19s, it wont back up snug to the MAD. The mount has sort of a dove-tail shoulder to it and I was wondering if the A.R.M.S. #40 would allow for a tight fit in which I could mount one more slot down the rail so the ocular will be flush with the charging handle.

Thx!

Your dealer didn't do you no favors, my TA11 came with a scope coat and lens pen.
I only use one screw with the 19S mount, seems secure enough but I used blue locktite just in case, so far no loss of zero. Maybe when Trjicon designed these scopes they were meant to be mounted on the carry handle, as all ACOGs can be so mounted, they just haven't added the extra screw to cope with the increasing number of flat tops, I dunno. There was a thread on the dimension/thread size of the screw so you can pick one up at a local hardware store..
I believe the #40 will work with it, the 19S seems to be made to allow #40 specifically, though my KAC 300M fits great too.

One screw will do just fine with a little blue loctite; but if you have to have an extra one just for peace of mind it is a 10/32 thread 1/2" machine screw set for a 1/8" allen wrench.
