I know that Springfield Armory is not making their own glass...they contract somebody for their scopes with the Springfield name and specs.

Millett's Gold and Lightning line scopes sure look an awful lot like Springfield Armory Scopes, without the Range finding recticle or the bubble level.

Is Millett making these scopes for Springfield Armory or is anouther company making these scopes for both Springfield and Millett

For $179.00 for the Millett Lightning illuminated 3x9x44, I think I could live with just the plain plex and Millett written on the side instead of Springfield.

Who here knows more about where these scopes actualy come from.

I've always wanted to put Springfield glass on my AR, but if Millett is the same thing for less than half the money, That would be cool also.
