Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - TA-31 lens cover question

How in the hell do these damn things fit on? I've tried it every way I can think of and it doesn't really seem to fit--At all. Probably seems like a dumb question but I'm stumped.

I assume you have the rubber bikini style...

The large end goes opposite the way you think - stick the end without the bands into the objective and pull back, covering the eyepiece.  IOW, when installed, the bands are toward the front sight and then pull back towards the stock.  If that makes any sense...

That's what I thought and tried initially. Really crappy design and a waste of money as far as I'm concerned. I'll either stick with the pullover cover that comes with it or get a standard scope cover and adapt it.

You'd think some "engineer" for trijicon could come up with a better idea. This one sucks.
