Does ARMS make or are they planning on making a throw lever mount for the EOTech that will allow me to mount forward of the hump of an RAS II or the forward section of a bi-level SIR and still co-witness with irons?  I know it probably isn't a big deal, but I usually don't go with anything without a throw lever just in case of some catastrophic failure of the optic and the frame of the optic.  Thanks.

Thanks, Calvert, but that doesn't really answer the question of whether one is being developed.  I have heard rumors, but nothing solid.  I could imagine a one-in-a-billion incident where the glass is cracked enough so that one can't make out the target clearly.  I would imagine a throw lever would come in handy in a case like that.  It' not if the situation would be likely or probable, but it is possible.

Use the thumb screw to mount instead of the hex head.  It is tight on mine and quick to come off If need be.  No I know that isnt what you wanted to hear but till a throw lever emerges it works!  Yes I have heard rumors but that is all!
