Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - A.R.M.S. #15 spacer?

Hi everyone!
I recently bought a Trijicon Reflex II with the 12.9 moa triangle with A.R.M.S. #15 mount.  Now I wasn't sure if I needed the spacer or not but got it anyway.  
I am mounting this on a RRA M4 flat top upper.  
How will it affect the use of my Reflex II sight? and why do I need it or not?
