What Trijcon 'Holosight'?
They have the Reflex which is fiberoptic/tritium powered and another version which can use mini cylume sticks. And there is thier line of ACOG scopes... The Tri-power will feature a batter option - but that sight is still in developement and is not available for purchase> |

Isn't holosight the type of optic that the reflex is? A reflex is a holosight, light a Xerox is a photocopier, and a Kleenex is a tissue.

Nope reflex is a red dot like aimpoint. Holosight would be considered the EOTECH or Bushnell Holosight. Actually all are considered red dots rather than any of them being real holosights........more or less...[>:/]!

No, not at all.
Holosight are Bushnell's version of the EOTech holographic sight. Reflex sights would include the Trijicon Reflex and Reflex II as well as the Mepro. Aimpoints and other red dot could be considered reflex, but would be better distiguished as Collimator systems. ACOGS, well are ACOGS, nothing compares to an ACOG. There are Panoramic sights which include ATN, Hakko and OKO. |
