I'm looking for pics of carry handle mounted Aimpoints. Not on a goose neck but above the handle. I saw one for a brief moment yesterday but did not get a chance to talk with the operator behind it.
Fulton Armory has this mount:

Any thoughts good or bad on this method; will it effect sight-in due the height over the bore?
It will be used on a 16" A2 carbine.

You will be much happier with the #39 gooseneck mount. You have to get used to it. After that  it will the best thing you ever owned.

The set up you have pictured works good as a night type sight.I would rather have that than the #2 that I wasted my money on.

Guru,
Will the #39 clear M4 hand guards?

339 ARMS forward mount will not clear the M4 double heat shield handguard.  some people will use a M4 handguard lower section and mate it to the standard CAR handguard top section so the ARMS #39 will fit.
