hey,  I just picked up a 1st gen holosight real cheap but it's just the sight & box, no paperwork

anyone know what kind of batteries this thing uses ??????

Bushnell's website says 2 1.5v N batteries.
I remember seeing refurb units at Natchez Shooters Supply that used AA batteries, I think.

yeah i saw that on the web site for the current grn but couldn't find anything for the 1st gen,  I think the 1.5v N's are correct though because AA are too long.

ttery, the AA did not surface until the second gen due to military request.
