Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Red-dot on RRA tactical carry handle?

Just picked up a Rock River Arms Entry Tactical today.  Anyone have any good advice for mounting a red-dot optic on the "carry handle?"  It looks like it would be pretty easy to put an Aimpoint or similar optic on the carry handle, perhaps without even having to use a spacer, and still be able to use the irons.

A cheapie (but effective) Tasco "Red-Dot". $30 @ Wal-Mart.
