I had a EOtech but not crazy about the on/off switch I think I prefer something that is always on and you not to worry about battery life. Trying to decide which would be best Trijicon Reflex or Meprolights? And has anyone had any trouble getting either of these to cowitness?

The Meprolight is a cheap copy of the Trijicon, and I don't know anyone who would recommend it.  But, not many would recommend the Reflex either.  It has a well-documented and widely-experienced problem with the reticle washing out if you're in a dark area aiming into a light area, and it's even worse if you use some kind of flashlight.

You currently have one of the three best CQB optics with the EOtech (the AimPoint and BAC-equipped ACOGs being the others), so you're already good to go.  A Reflex is a step down...
