Hi

Will the TA31 fit on a A3 with RAS II and ARMS #40?  Which mount will i need,if it fits?  All this type about the TA31 has me thinking about one.

Yes. The Trijicon flat-top ACOG mount will fit, but I'd suggest the new ARMS #19S short ACOG mount.  I have this setup on one of my rifles, but used a KAC 600m as a backup.

You can use either the ARMS #19S or the TA51 with the setup you have mentioned. I like the #19S personally.

This isnt exactly what you wanted but you will get the idea. If you use the #40 as a BUIS, the TA31 mounted to a TA55 trijicon mount may not work. Some folks couldnt get it to fit, others could. If you use a ARMS #19 mount, it will fit no problem.

If you use a different BUIS, either mount will allow the ACOG to clear the BUIS. Here's a TAO1nsn on a TA55 mount over a Knights 600M site with a RAS II.
