I am usually an iron sights distance shooter.  I got one of these as a graduation gift for my Associates Degree in History.  I mounted it on my spare Dissy upper. What can I expect out of it?

I used one on an open class pistol for more than 3 1/2 years. never had a problem with it. scopes get battered more on a pistol than they would on an AR
