I just came from ordering a RRA Varminter and was asking about scopes. This dealer bought some old overstock from a distributor. He has the 3-9 scope for $399.00 and a TA50R-4 (I think, AR mount red cross hair and 3X)for $529.00. Are these good prices? Has anyone had experiance with the scope....it sure looked nice. He let me go outside with it and it was very clear and bright. Is the scope god bad or so so? Thanks.

that's a great deal on the 3x compact acog but it ain't exaclty a varmint scope.
