I have an AIM POINT 5000.  I want to mount it on my AR-15-A2 with an not detachable carrying handle.  I don't care if it mounts high, I just don't want it so low all I see is the front sight.  Any suggestions?  I can break an cannon ball, so I want a solid mount.

ARMS #2 on the carrying handle is what the Spec Ops team were mounting their Aimpoint 5000s before the M series came out.  as far as forward mount, your best choice is probably ARMS #39, since it gives you enough rail on the forward section to mount the long Aimpoint 5000.

I could be wrong on the ARMS #39, it has been awhile since I used a 5000.
