Now that I switched out my A1 reciever for a flattop on my carbine, I am looking for a compact, quality scope of no more than 4x.  I just mounted a cheapie 4x on it to get me going right now(had it sitting in a drawer).  I don't think it will last too long, so I'm looking for your suggestions and experiances with optics with these qualities.  Thanks!

They are pricey…but it is pretty tough to beat a Trijicon ACOG.  I would suggest the TA31F with BAC for great speed and pretty good precision out to 300 M or so…or the TA01NSN for more precision. IMHO of course…
