Hello,

I just purchased a Hakko BED 24 Red Dot Relex scope and the images are very blurry; the cross hairs are double or even triple imaged, and I cannot even distinguish the dot from the circle or cross hair reticle.

Is this normal for red dot scopes or the Hakko's in general? The damn thing was about $140.00 (Ebay) and I expected to have a fairly crisp or sharp dot and cross hairs. I tried it on all the brightness levels and it is just as blurry on them all, please help a noob out !! Thanks

Ed

Do the ACOGs that come with the flattop adapter such as the TA01NSN have the ability to mount on a standard carrying handle also?

If  you get a screw and cone ... yes ... however the BDC is off / different.

Can somebody please post some pictures of a ACOG SF model TA01NSN to see what it looks like looking through it in the night and night??

Here's a couple Eotech pics.  The top gives you an idea of how it looks when you focus on the reticle and the bottom shows your unobstructed field of view when you focus on the target.  That fuzzy reticle kind of grows on you.  The building is 130m away for reference.

Why does my eotech recticle not look this sharp?  Mine looks way more pixlated(sp?).  Is something wrong with mine.  I tried turning the brightness down but it still isn't as sharpa as the pics.

Focus grasshopper.....It's all in the focus.  In order for the reticle to appear sharp the focus must be on the target....just like with your eyes, the camera works in a similar way.  I'm not a photog of any kind, so I don't know what to tell you as far as setting up a camera to take a "sharp" pic of the reticle.

Show me some Aimpoint M3 versie the M2. Iam think about getting thw ML2 or the ML3. I would like to see the size different's between the two dot sizes. Can you turn up the brightness on the M3/ML3 for close CQB TO make the dot same size as the M2?

I would like to see the dot size between the two ML3/ML2.    To see how much bigger the ML2 Dot is than the ML3.

Whats a good one to use on a regular no frills M16A2?  I want a fixed 4x with accurate bdc, and really dont want to fork out the money for an Elcan.

I never saw an ELCAN mounted on a carry handle.  The 4X ACOGs all can be mounted on the carry handle, the cheekweld isn't that great though.

Congrats on being one of the few people to own one! I should receive my RCO in 1-2 weeks. Is it possible for anyone to get a better pic of the RCO's reticle?

The RCO has reference stadia lines that allow a Marine or soldier to give fellow comrades a reference point.

Side note: The RCO also has the adjustment caps attached by wire so they stay with optic and RCO comes with a belt pouch in Desert Tan (?)

Is the red diagonal line extra?
I hope Trijicon will ship all the ACOGs with a pouch and cabled caps.  I have never lost a cap yet and I don't baby my ACOGs, but these little things can come in handy.

Here's another TA31F picture (for some reason couldn't get both the security light and the reticle in focus at the same time so I opted for the reticle;  when looking through it they're both in focus):

Just mounted the RCO. There's more front sight shadow than I expected, but it doesn't detract from the scope's usefulness. More annoying than anything else.

At some angles I can see the VITAL2 mounted behind the front sight, but nobody's perfect

that t31 F looks like it would work for deer hunters.  anyone got some shots through one at say a 10" target or so at 1, 2 and 300 yards?

I've looked at the donut ones...but they would seem to oclude too much target at distance
