I am considering the purchase of an ARMS 39 mount for my Colt Govt. Carbine 6520 (pre-ban) with an A-2 upper.

1. What would be the best Aimpoint rings or mount that would be required for this above the hand guard approach that would enable me to retain use of iron sights?

I am set in my thinking on the Aimpoint M2 and believe the ARMS 39 Scout rail is the way to go.

Use: Close quarters to 200 meters
