Should I turn the adjusters to the middle before I mount and shight the scope?

Don't have to, but it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me.  That way you know how far off you are from mechanical center when zeroing your rifle.  If you don't know where center is and you mount the scope and head for the range, you *could* find that you've run out of adjustment room on the scope and need to look at ring adjusting/lapping.

Do it.

No need to center anything.  Sight should be factory centered if new, or user adjusted if used.  Always start from a user setting if there is one, 90% of the work is already done for you.

For lurkers this sight has no rings to lap, but that's applicable to many other sights.
