The only lense cover I am aware of is the one made by [url]www.scopecoat.com[/url]. It is available either directly from them or from [url]www.midwayusa.com[/url].
The cover made for the compact ACOGs will fit any of the models. |

Look on the right side of the ACOG, you should see Trijicon & Made in USA just behind the adjustment cap. Look under the word Trijicon and you should see a faint model # that has been engraved. If it says TA44-5 then it'd be a 1.5x16, 45-6 = 1.5x24, 47-6 = 2x20 & 50-6 = 3x24.

I looked......nothing -- not even faint. I used the pic you posted as a reference. The only number even visible is the 1950 on the bottom of the housing. Ed |

Is the front lense set really deep into the alum. housing? Take a ruler and try estimate how many mm the front lense is.

my DSA catalog lists Scopecoats for various scopes including ACOG, compact ACOG, ELCAN, C-More...etc

The front lens is either close to 1 inch, maybe it is 1". I'm starting to think it IS 3 power. But I have zero way of knowing for sure, but I do know it is not easy to keep both eyes open and get a good sight picture so it's probably more than 1.5x.

I use a Butler Creek Tini Bikini scope cover.
It's black rubber, cost about $5.50 and has a lifetime warranty. It works great and blends in with the rest of my black evil rifle. No socks on my ACOG. Mike |
