Is the Army using the newer Aimpoint M2 or are they still using the older M?

If using the new M2, did the M2 need to go through the same testing procedure or was it accepted without testing?

Most likely both. Older models that need replacing and newer orders are probebly the new M2. But I would imagine there are still a lot of Comp-M's in service. I doubt the military is going to get rid of them if they are still working. I know I havent!
