Will that combination fit? I am really just wanting to know if the ARMS#40 will still have room once the ACOG is mounted using the #19ACOG mount. Thanks.

No, but the ARMS #19ACOG will fit without the #40.

Hopefully coldblue will correct me if I'm wrong; but I don't think you can mount any back up iron sight with RAS-II and a #19ACOG.

The RAS-II is made to work with Trijicon's TA51 flattop mount. With the #19ACOG, there isn't enough room to mount that and a rear sight.

If you use the TA51 mount, you have more room to mount a back-up iron sight and you can mount any sight that will fit under an ACOG on a TA51 - which does exclude the ARMS #40.

No it won't, the #40 is 0.950" tall and won't clear.

I went this route with GG&G

Yea but the acog was mounted on a SIR system which raises the ACOG.

I understand now. I recently saw an ACOG and the #19 mount together, I did not realize how much bigger the #19 is from the stock mount.

I just received my ACOG(TA01 NSN) and it will fit with the arms #40. you just have to move the ACOG forward, not a great setup but it will work, also you can mount it normaly but the pressure of the acog pushes the arms#40 down more than is intended, which wears the finish off my $650 scope OUCH! so what im doing is getting a gg&g BUIS or one of the bushmaster BUIS's, but if you like mounting the ACOG forward it will work but not with the RAS 2.

Got to be careful how far forward you mount the TAO1nsn. It requires somewhat of a tight eye relief to get the most out of the sight. Mount it too far forward and you will be unable to get propper eye relief.

True, I decided on the gg&g sight, the bushmaster BUIS, requires me to move my ACOG too far forward.
