As a result of some very thoughtful advice from many of you on this board, I have finished my AR!

I had trouble seeing my iron sights well enough at any distance (age related) and you guys have helped a bunch.

Switched to a flattop (RRA from Peter in NH) and an Aimpoint M2 (SWFA) mounted on a GG&G cantelever mount (Wes Grant).  I also added a Streamlight M500A light (private individual in the Equipment Exchange).

My little Colt has never looked or handled better.

I appreciate all your input.

TX, I emember when you came on with all the questions. Im glad folks were helpful and Im glad you've finished your rig. Go out and have a blast with it! Did you get a Surefire (not Streamlight) M500 light?
