What's the big deal about the pre-ban mags? What makes them so different than new make aluminum mags or the LE/government use mags? From what I've seen most people prefer PMags for reliability and on top of that a lot say the original mags have feeding issues due to follower getting cocked at an angle.

For me personally it's nostalgia and distrust of plastic to get the LE marked mags over pmags. Plus I'm one of the "purist" guys who likes the M16/M4 as it originally was/is with the quad rail for attachments.

So that's the reason most surplus mags are so exuberantly priced? Lame.........
