I picked up 3 at Numrich to try , I have not been to the range yet they seem about the same strength as Orlites

This was full of fail in the first test, I tried one today and it did not want to let the bolt go forward on the first round and locked back while loaded

Did all three mags give you problems? What is your rig? Also, can you give us detailed pics?

Was holding off waiting on your outcome of these mags.

I just tried one mag. It was full of fail the mag was only loaded to 10 rounds. I used my factory unmolested Rock River match rifle see link rr nma2 Gun is new and works great with assorted gi mags gun has less than 100 rounds through it. I will try the other 2 mags but I have low hopes I am going to compare it to an Orlite and see what the difference is. so far I will not buy more the top rear may be too high when it is in the lower since it locked back while still having rounds in it.

I actually just received my three today. Fit and function seem good, all 3 lock open the action, seat easily and drop free in my M&P15.

All three were very easy to load with my lula, loading right up to 35 rounds. Follower moves very smoothly, no tilting or binding. If I was blindfolded, I would have guessed I was loading a pmag (blasphemy!).

Should be out to the range in a week or two - will report back with my findings.

Is their evidence of a molded in metal liner of the feed lip area?

Range report:

Took all 3 to the range today. Ran through 2 full mags of each, total of 210 rounds. I fired five mags' worth, my buddy shot 1. Of course, the one he shot had a stoppage on the last round. Action locked open with 1 left in the mag. I'm going to write that off as a fluke, since he has some seriously bad gun karma.

All 5 loads I shot functioned perfectly. Slow fire, rapid fire, no problems.

I'm thinking I might pick up a few more of these bad boys.

Wow! Actually impressed. Looks like they used what was best about the AK mag and incorporated it into a AR mag. Might just pick up a 5 pack.

Old AK trick on 5rd 7.62x39 mags. Trim one inch off the bottom of the follower and the mag will hold 10 rds.
I'll bet that trimming 0.75" or so will take the AR-15 mag out to 40rds.

Also....please trim part of the follower down to see exactly how much needs to be removed and reliably still feed a total of 40 rounds....that's not too much to ask, is it

I would like a picture of it in the gun too...

And I wouldn't mind it if he cut up the follower for this experiment.

The three I bought funtioned perfectly
in the rifles I had at the range. I bought
three of them for the discount.
Compared to other mags on the market,
I think the price is reasonable.

Can we get a pic of the gun from above with the magazine in it and maybe some bare toes preferably everything sitting on some concrete at exactly 12:01pm YOUR time?

Those magazines look to be perfect for the American AUG and FN 2000. Very interesting find. Hopefully more are on their way as the Bulgarians seem to not mind making all kinds of different magazines.

I wonder if they missed the memo that our market is still ravenous for their 5.45 circle 10s.

Also can you check to see if a magpul follower will work in them?

Not so. The only difference between a 10rd AK mag and a 5rd AK mag is the follower height. Besides which, trimming of followers in pistol mags in IPSC for extra capacity has been done for years with no adverse impact on reliability. I'll bet that if you lay a USGI or Magpul follower next to the Bulgarian follower, you will see the height difference....
