 The Academy near me has 20 round ar-15 mags. They are blued and have nothing written on them. Has anyone bought any of these?

There is no reason to buy those mags.  IIRC, they are blue steel ProMag mags.  You can get much better mags for less.

Please familiarize youyrself with the Equipment exchange here on ar15.com

I know the ones you're talking about at Academy, they are bad mags at a big price compared to what you can get in the intertnet, trust me on this one.

Yes those are ProMags I have owned a couple. Mine ran 100%.

You can find USGI quality for less money on the EE.

I like the Straight 20's myself. I have heard the curved 20's are dependable, but I only own the straight 20's.
