I'm letting you all know that I had an extremely good dealing with 44mag.com today. Ordered 20 30-rd mags, and the shipping was way off. Shipping was supposed to be $9.93, but on the invoice, it said $19.95. WTF? I call them up, and because the weight of some of the items I ordered was incorrect in the computer and it grossly inflated the shipping cost. I said fine, can you credit my card the difference ($10.01)? That would have been what I'd have expected, nothing more. He said that because it was their error, he was going to credit my card for the entire shipping cost ($19.95). I said that wasn't necessary; just the difference will do.
He insisted upon crediting the higher number. That's going way out of the way to keep a customer satisfied, and indeed, it did. He probably barely broke even on the magazines because he ate the shipping. Didn't have to do that...and he had said this had happened to 4 other people today.
I'm planning on ordering a 100-mag case in the not too distant future, and you betcha I'll be ordering it from 44mag.com.
