I'm letting you all know that I had an extremely good dealing with 44mag.com today. Ordered 20 30-rd mags, and the shipping was way off. Shipping was supposed to be $9.93, but on the invoice, it said $19.95. WTF? I call them up, and because the weight of some of the items I ordered was incorrect in the computer and it grossly inflated the shipping cost. I said fine, can you credit my card the difference ($10.01)? That would have been what I'd have expected, nothing more. He said that because it was their error, he was going to credit my card for the entire shipping cost ($19.95). I said that wasn't necessary; just the difference will do.

He insisted upon crediting the higher number. That's going way out of the way to keep a customer satisfied, and indeed, it did. He probably barely broke even on the magazines because he ate the shipping. Didn't have to do that...and he had said this had happened to 4 other people today.

I'm planning on ordering a 100-mag case in the not too distant future, and you betcha I'll be ordering it from 44mag.com.

Funny you should mention this. My first order was for 30 mags in early Jan, shipping was $4.95, US Mail. He's switched to UPS, and it was $9.93 for 20 mags and a bunch of Magpul followers (and the mags were packed differently - no paper wrap this time; just cardboard seperators between layers of mags).

I'm new to the world of AR15.com.  I've only been here for a month now.  The two dealings I've had worked great.  I'm 2 for 2 on positive dealings.

One of those dealings was also with 44mag.  I loved the quick shipping from 44mag.  I got my mags in only a few days.

Only thing I didn't like about 44mag?  Whats the sense of giving tracking info, if it doesn't work.  I really don't think the post office scanned my package.  Their website only said shipping info was recieved but the item wasn't recieved by them.  Yesterday when I got home from shooting, whats in my mailbox?

Gave me something else to play with after I cleaned my rifle.  I upgraded a few of my used 30rd magazines.

+1 for 44mag. My rifle didn't like one brand of mag for some reason so he's replacing them with a different brand no problem.

Soon as they come in and I confirm they work I'm going to order 10 more at least.

Will be ordering more soon!

Tracking was fine as I  was mailed a tracking # when I requested one.

I felt it was taking a long time to get my order, but when I looked, it was just my excitment on receving my order that made it SEEM like it took a long time!

I had a problem so I called 'em.  His number is right there on the site.  He looked in his little 'puter and gave me the info I needed.  10 mags were delivered 4 days later.

I recently ordered from them instead of their major competitor on the EE.  I got great
mags that were shipped without damage and the floorplates have the D&H Manu. logo on them
instead of advertising for the other guys company.  It was worth the extra money for that to me.

Its also worth the extra few bucks they may cost when they have great service like you experienced.

never met the man behind the brains of 44mag.com, but kudos.   Shows the USA is still the land of opportunity, e business works, someone saw an opportunity, took a chance, and kicking butt!

I ordered seven thirty round D&H magazines from 44mag.com.  I also had an issue with the shipping charge being more than my confirmation showed.  I contacted 44mag.com by e-mail and he responded right away.  He credited the difference and was apologetic.  Seems to be one of the few places left that really understands customer service.  He offered fast service and very competitive pricing!  I will be doing business with him in the future.

Good to hear that they are no longer falsely advertising products and lying to customers who call them on it...

Yeah, I still hold a grudge about that...

It happend before the end of the ban.

They had a great deal on mags that wasn't so great...

It played out on here between them and a few pissed customers.

I don't know how far back one can search the archives...
