Do you load your straight 20rd mags with 18, 19 or 20 rounds?  I had a couple of double feeds and now down load mine to 18 rounds...   What say you?

With new 20's (NHMTG Mfg.) I load 20.  With my old 70's vintage Colt Mfg. 20's, I download to 18rnds...only because the springs are starting to go.  Giving Wolff Springs a call in a few weeks to revamp them.

20 in a 20 , 30 in a 30 .

The AR mag is a 40+ year old design that wasn't rocket science
to begin with . Truth be told , they were originally designed
to be disposable . The last I read . 1500 rounds ( Or 50 Loadings )
is considered to be their useful life expectancy .

If the mag doesn't work with it's designed capacity then it's broke
or worn out . Fix it or toss it ..
