Those floor plates have to go.
It sounds like they take existing USGI mags, insert their own followers and floor plates. "These magazines are the most reliable ever manufactured" per D&L. That's quite a claim. |

How do you clean the magazines ?
Removing the baseplate by using a screwdriver kills the idea of routine cleaning, and those that have a screwdriver wills trip out that insert making sure that they are staying tight. I can remember doing mounted and foot patrols in the desert and having to clean everything, including mags to clean the fine powdery sand out. The screws have got to go. |
