The longer the spring the more the chance that it will f'up. Besides, sounds like a hack job to me. I've never heard of anything like that made commercially.
Clip, dude, really. Wait guys, maybe he's referring to a new high tech kitchen appliance that holds bananas, kinda of like the Chip-Clip.
