+1 on the replacement mag body. i would like to replace one of mine that had a tab break off when i replaced the spring and follower. i guess at least i have a parts mag.

Before the ban ended, we could buy these. Now, it appears that they are nowhere to be found.

With mags being so cheap lately (10-13 bucks each) why not just buy new mags?

it's because during the ban it was a shady way of getting new mags under the guise of replacing bad parts so there was a bigger demand for "replacement" bodies than now when new mags are legal |

brownells has the mag bodies listed:
Peace River repacement magazine parts, part # 100-001-984 - 20rd replacement mag body(curved not straight) 100-001-985 - 30rd replacementmag body $12.50 for full price less if you get dealer discount(actually a nice price if you get the discount). i was thinking of ordering some to make my own high reliablity mags out of and not be stuck with a bunch of extra parts i don't need. |

Peace river is actually owned now by Brownells. Good products just overpriced. There are good replacement parts kits for magazines out there. Magazines are going up in price. I know for a fact D&H is going up in 2006 due to costs raw materials. Brownells also does not make magazimes. They are a bid winner but buy from a prime contractor.

Dealer price is only $10.59 for both 20 and 30 round bodies. Not much of a deal once you add shipping and all the other part to make them complete. Hootbro |

Tapco is selling 30 round NIB D&H mags for 11.99/ea (they're out of stock currently, but should get more in soon). I bought some, and they're damn nice. |
