Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Crappy mags

My mags FTF how can I repair them.Is there not some kind of kit I can buy to fix them.I do not know what type of mags they are but I know that they are crappy.I had so many FTF's at the range that I just put my AR down and started shooting my AK(My AK never has FTF's by the way).

I sent my broken mags to Old_Painless (www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=332388)  He 'fixed' them for me.

On a serious note, if these are crappy USA mags or of similar quality then just get rid of them.  It isn't worth your time and effort to try to fix them especially given how less expensive USGI have become after the AWB ended.

Just buy USGI mags. Throw the other ones away.
