I sent my only problem mag to them yesterday. I hope I get an extra for my troubles.

Youza! I'm glad I didn't jump the gun on these mags. I paid a little more and got some good ones from practicaltactical.net. NHMTG mags, Okay's cage number on the body. Very nice!

The condensed version of the other thread is that Creative Products had a known bad batch of mags accidently get mixed in with some good ones. CP owned up to the problem. Replaced any bag magazines PLUS gave the buyer a bonus mag for their trouble.
I bought two mags, returned them to CP using their UPS number (cost me nothing) and got three good mags in return. I test fired these mags yesterday and had zero problems in 270 rounds. These mags have a green follower and silicone springs. For those of you who do not know, CP makes a LOT of springs and parts you'll see over at Brownell's. This is NOT a new company. We're always talking about how great it would be if someone tooled up to mass produce this and that. Well, that's what CP is doing! They see the demand. I give them a lot of credit for owning up to the initial problem and then bending backwards to make things right. Avoid them if you want. More mags for me.

FINE! BE THAT WAY! I'm just nutty like that. Mag being the weakest link in the system, I never forget a goocher. Sanchez, Coopers, etc.... ALL BANNED from my stash. There's simply NO EXCUSE for shit mags to get out of the plant. |

Are you seriously suggesting that there is no excuse for any company to ever have some defect in their manufactured product slip by the QC department and reach a customer's hands?
I can't think of a single company that has never had some kind of product defect slip out the door. This includes Bushmaster, RRA and Armalite. I'm sure someone out there has even had a problem or two with a Colt product. I can think of a lot of companies who have had product problems and they have not made things right. I think we should give CP a little more credit. BTW, your information on Sanchez mags might be a little off. IIRC, the military experienced a higher than normal number of failures with some Sanchez magazines. The cause of the problem was never really determined. The followers were replaced with green followers and the problem ceased to exist. Avoiding all Sanchez mags might cause you to pass over some good quality magazines. I have quite a few Sanchez mags that I bought NIW with green followers. All have been great.

That's OK! Maybe you're not the sharpest stick in the forest.  My point is that there are too many other alternatives to Sanchez or Cooper for me to bother worrying if I have a bad or good mag. I would have to work to find those makers in my area. So I just stick with what's easy to find like adventurelines and Okays and such. I'm sure you can get some good Sanchez, but I don't have to give a second thought to buying another brand. |

well then markm, you can pay $15-20 for some other brand, and i'll pay $10 for creative mags that work just as well and look the same :)

Actually, its pretty easy to find new LEO Center, Okay, etc... for $10-$11, which have a known reputation. |

Hey, I worked fo GM for 30 yrs building Cadillacs and then engines for Cadillacs, and we had a few bad ones get out. Stat. 100% visual inspection = 80%, so 100% means 20 % goes by.
