Yes I know they are DH Id. now.

Took a tour of the manufacturing plant. It is amazing how many steps and how much QC goes into a relativly simple product like a magazine. The QC is checked and rechecked at every step of the way. I wish I had my digi-camera with me so I could show some pics.

Anyways - the current production is still running the LE stamp on the right side of the mag.
The left side has the month and date of manufacturer and the right side has the LE / Military stamp, and the floorplate has the CAGE code.
They will be switching the stamping sometime this month to CAGE code on the right side, with the same month and date of manufacturer on the left.

So it may be a little while before we see teflon mags without the LE stamp ?
BTW - I still do not have an ETA on more mags.

What kind of hours are they putting in nowadays? 24/7? weekends? 2-3 shifts? 40 hour week?

They are currently gearing up for higher production.
(not sure on the shifts and hours ?)
But everyone was working hard today

Like many folks they were not convinced the AWB would go away, so were hesitant to make large inventments for future production.
And if Kerry gets in, it may be a only a matter of time before the increased production is not required

They have large commitments to US and other governments that they have to honor before commercial shipment can go.

Back to Kerry... I feel if kerry wins, it will be more because of people not liking Bush personaly than being anti-republican. And with a republican controlled congress.. no worries.. (unless narrowly controlled congress.. then..) All "we" need is a 66% majority in both houses and it won't matter if the president is from mars.... his

You are exactly correct.
One side will have a CAGE Code (their floor plates have them now)
and the other will have the month and year of manufacture.
But they have not made the switch yet, as of today they are still coming off the production line with the LE stamp.

I think you are right!
I think the concern is if Kerry wins he will tour the country giving speaches telling America that the evil AW are harming "the children". Just like Clinton did in the early 90's.
It is a easy political move. He will not make any more political enemies than he already has, and it would make him look like he is actually doing something (to the average uninformed voter)
And unforturnatly a couple Repulicans think honest citizens don't "need" evil features.

(BTW - I hate it when they justify taking away rights by using the word "need", a free economy and government is not based on "need"; nobody "needs" a Cadillac, maybe they should be banned

?
Economies/Governments that are built just to accomidate the "needs" are socialist)

BTW - ADCO does do great work.

Their rep has always been excellent. Their teflon finish has generally been the preferred finish in the commercial market. I am not really an expert on manufacturing, but I was really impressed at all of the QC checks that were done over and over throughout the manufacturing process.

Stupid, but they would probably have to requalify the product or the Government won't accept them.

They are going to switch them so there is no LE stamp.
They just have not switched over the dies/stamp yet.

Got word today; the Non-LE marked mags should come out in late Nov. ('ish)

WRONG! My two OH senators consistantly vote right along the side of Ted Kennedy and the like on gun control issues. You CAN'T expect all republican's to vote along party lines. If you really think the Congerss can keep us free from the U.N. global gun ban treaty supported by Rebecca Peters you are mistaken. Watch Wayne La Pierre debate her on the issue of a global gun ban Oct 12th on iN-Demand pay-per-view.

Lets not forget that Bush made it very clear that he would sign a new AWB if it made it to his desk. Kerry would certainly do the exact same thing. So it really doesnt seem to matter who is in office. It all comes down to congress on this one (which is exactly how laws are supposed to get passed).
