Just got my new mags from CMMG today. Their website says these are manufactured by DPMS but the floorplates say D&H. They look exactly like the mags I got from Tapco except these are black finished. I got em for $15 a pop, if anyone wants to get new mags but don't want to wait til December for Tapco's backorders give CMMG a try.

They were brand new, came wrapped in newspaper but they looked good.

The mags on the right came from Tapco, the black ones on the left were from CMMG

I notice that the grey mags are more popular than the black ones. If they both perform the same and have the teflon finish; why would you NOT want the black mag that matches with the rifle better.

???  I allways wondered the same thing, but I prefer the gray ones too

I think the grey ones are more visible simply because there are more of them out there.

Ok,

For us sorry and festering ignorant FOP's out here, would someone please post a link or contact info to CMMG?

Thanks!

... Too expensive. The market will bring down high magazine prices after the "rush" is over. Bookmark my word on it.

CMMG has a thread in the EE here:
CMMG's LEO Marked Mags

I agree that prices will probably come down a little once the "I want a LEO marked mag!" craze drops off, but don't hold your breath for pre-94 prices.  I think simple inflation will prevent that.
