I have a box of 7 new mags
floor plate
Colt AR -15 mags
CAL. 223
COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. INC.
HARTFORD.CONN U.S.A.
Are these worth any more than the 5.56 marked mags? Don't remember how long I've had them. Sides are scuffed from rubbing against each other. Nothing separating them.
box is marked
1005-056-2237
MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY
7 EACH A7-67
DSSF03-66-C-0018

Does the 7-67 mean produced July 67?

Their value is no higher due to the .223 on the base plate. Being new does raise their value somewhat.

I will buy these from you now. After the ban sunsets they will be worth $10-$12 bucks (probably lesss). What are you asking for these?

Keep in mind that the military issues 30 rounders, and that 20's have been largely out of production for years. I think 20's will cost more than 30's in the not so distant future.

It's also the top post at the mag discussion area.

20's have been largely out of production for years.

There are several companies still making them with the LEO stamp.  After the ban, they will start to pop back up.  I have a bunch of 30 round D&H mags, and they also make new 20 rounders.

They're worth a bit more if they're in mint/new condition. How much since the AWB is sunsetting? That's to be seen. A year ago, I sold some for over $30 each.  There are mag collectors that'll pay a bit more depending on type. Here's a break down of what I've seen and collected in the .223 marked 20's.

1 - Common .223 with the dk gray/purplish anodized base plate. Bast plate stampings range from fine to dull.

2 - Has a 1 with a circle around it on the lower part of the mag. The base plates are a bright silverish (no anodizing?) The stampings have sharp larger fonts. I've read that these were for the SP1's.

3 - The rarest of the bunch have mag bodies that have a greenish tint to the mag bodies. There's no 1 with circle on the body and the base plate is similar to the #2's.

I bought four of #3 from a vendor that was selling a large store of new 20's a coupe of years ago. Out of the hundreds, he only had 4. I found 8 out of a lot of several hundred when I was doing a gig buying and selling years ago.

Hope this helps a little.
