Often you read about people selling number 21? Thermold mags and saying Canadian mags aren't the greatest, but what is wrong with number 22H Thermold mags.  Why is 21 so popular and not 22H.
can anyone help clear this up?

Nothing wrong with the H22s at all.  The mold is reversed compared to the H21, meaning the writing is on the opposite side, but otherwise they're just like any other Thermold.
