Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bushy 10 rnd problem

I just bought a Bushmaster AR-15 and I think the included 10rnd mag has a problem.  The notch at the front of the mag seems to be very shallow compared to the British 30rnd mags I bought.  I noticed this when I chambered a round from the Bushy mag and after I ejected the round, I noticed the case had a large scratch on the body.  Is this normal?  Below is a pic of the two mags side by side (Bushy on the left).

The large scratch, if it runs down the length of the case, is probably the feed lips scratching it.
