i have a few of the parked Brit mags and noticed that they have a # stamp on the lower front.  the one i have in front of me is 89 or 68 within a circle.  does anyone know what the stamps are?

thanks

One of my parked SA-80 mags is stamped with a "2" and one of my Imperial Defense mags is stamped with a "4".

I'm curious to know what they mean too.

Year of manfact.
89=1989=preban
68=1968=preban

All Brit mags are being sold as preban (made before 1994).

looking at my other two, one is 2  and the other is 4,  it doesn't make sense that they would give a two digit year for the 80's and then switch to a 1 digit stamp for the 90's, ie...1992, 1994.  however manufacturers have done stranger things.  anyone know what they are for sure,  maybe a factory code?

I have 6 of the SA-80 mags from Tapco and none of them are marked...
