From what i know they are good mags. They are mil spec and they usually go for around 40-50 i think.

They are mags originally made for the Armalite AR-18/AR-180 as licensed by Sterling of England. You'll notice that they have a slot on the right side (opposite the side of the standard AR15 mag catch hole). Original AR-180s used this slot to retain the mag, but Sterling used both types of mag catch holes, which allows the mags to work in AR15-type rifles as well.
These are widely regarded to be the best 40-rounders available. -Troy |

Sterling 40rd mags usually sell for $80-$100 in good condition.

[:)] I paid $35 at a local gunshop, for a new magazine. But he only had one....[>(]
And as Troy writes, it has a very smal slot on the right side,(and a small hole on both sides about 1" from the top) |
