I have had thermolds for various weapons for many years. My first ones were for a mini-14. I loved the standard 30 rounders. The 45 round ones were junk. Never saw a 20. Only problem I have with them is that they are ribbed (doesn't like to fit into mag holders) and I did have 1 (THAT IS ONE) break a feed lip. This was a long-long time ago. Was winter and was very cold. The magazine was loaded into my car the night before. I think this was around 1988. One drop on the feedlips on a bench and it was toast. Spit every round out. Sent it back and they replaced it. Ever since then I have been untrusting of them. Being in the military I have found that new looking GI mags work perfectly. Used ones suck. If the Brits are perfect dimensions with GI's, I'll go steel. Steel may rust, but will take a while. My Remington mags are steel and don't rust and are not parkarized. The lower receiver is anodized which I am told is harder than parkarizing. This means the mag will wear, not the lower.
Thanks for the opinions and pls let me know what you think about these thoughts.
