Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - DPMS Floorplates

I have seen two dIfferent DPMS floorplates on magazines. One reads:

DEFENSE PROCUREMENT
MANUFACTURING SERVICES, INC
OSSED, MN 55369

and the other has DPMS, PANTHERARMS and he panther head on it.

Is there any relationship between pre/post ban or is one the new improved version?

This is just an educated guess, but I would say the difference is due to the fact that they changed their name.  I couldn't tell you when though.  Also, they're going to be moving and are soon starting on a new shop in St. Cloud, rather than in Becker.  They also hosted a 3 gun Match in August, which it sounds like they are going to continue with.
