I have a few colt mags with the # 62667 on the side of the mag body and 62665A on the follower. Would this be the date of manufacture?  6-26-67? Any information would be appreciated.

Yooper2,

Thanks for bringing up this subject.
Those numbers sounded familiar, so I went and checked a couple of the 30 rounders that I have.

BINGO,,, The same exact numbers on the body and the followers.

I got these at a gun show years ago and have never used them, although they were used mags.

They have Colt floorplates and I thought maybe the guy just put them on old GI mags so he could get a few more bucks for them.

GoGo, Thanks for the link to the mag info.

Yep
Those are the early Colt 30rd mags with the dark green followers. Not many around anymore and are worth a few extra dollars to the mag collector.
