They are transparent amber in color and their brand contained the name "dog" in them...i don't remember though. It just looked really neat and i wanted to ask your opinion before buying them. Thanks

I'd check the magfaq, but i'm guessing they are not so great. They sound liek the eagle 30's. I had a few ram line smoke clear 30's, and they weren't bad. But plastic is plastic.

I have one clear/smoke colored 30 rnd mag. It is more of a novelty thing for at the range with some friends.

Like Nam said, "it's plastic". For anything real, USGI's are the only way to go.

I paid $15 shipped for it just to have it and try it out.

Had a couple "eagle" mags. Fine, til you get solvents on em. Brake cleaner will quickly reduce an "eagle" to a melted brittle mass.

The others, made by "Defense Moulding Inc" are suffering from cracked feed lips. Good civvie design, but just not made for anything beyond range use.

The good part? I did'nt pay a dime for any of em. I use USGI mags whenever I can, and the "plastics" are for play.
