All Center Industries mags will be marked on the mag body with Center's CAGE code (6P199) and a date in MM/YY format. If the date is 09/94 or earlier, they are legal "pre-ban" mags. If the date stamp is 10/94 or later, they are restricted "post-ban" mags, and illegal for non-LEOs or government types to possess.

Take a good look at the mag bodies. Sometimes it's hard to see the date stampings, either because they weren't stamped in hard enough or because the finish obscures them somewhat. But you should find them (do you know where to look?). If you don't, suspect that they are used, refinished mags. I've seen a bunch of those too...

Actually, not all Center mags were stamped with a date. I have a bunch that were not, and it's been discussed here before as well. In the early 90's for some odd reason they (Center) failed to mark a load of mags. Perhaps you have a bunch of those. And if memory serves me correctly, I believe mine were from 91 as well. New in wrap with just the dates on the wrap and no dates on the mags.

Yes, I bought some Centers NIW too, only cage code, no dates. Black followers.
